New customers of Imagination Ensigma Wi-Fi/Bluetooth IP core include Ineda, Toshiba, Toumaz, and many South Korean and mainland fabless semiconductor companies including Rockchip. Imagination will also announce other companies around the world that use this technology.




Applications targeted by these companies include streaming media devices, tablets, wearable devices, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and stand-alone Wi-Fi combo chips. New authorized customers of Ensigma Wi-Fi will join the growing EnsigmaRPU customer base, including Qualcomm, STMicroelectronics, S2-Tek, FrontierSilicon, OrcaSystems and others.




As Imagination continues to expand its end-to-end Ensigma Wi-Fi solution from RF (radio frequency) to software, the company's Wi-Fi Alliance certification program will ensure interoperability between devices. Imagination has obtained Wi-Fi Alliance certification from Miracast and Passpoint. After obtaining various certifications such as Wi-FiCERTIFIED, Wi-FiDirect, WPA, WPA2, WMM and Wi-FiProtectedSetup, the technical content is stronger.
